Who are Ashtead Fireplaces?

Ashtead Fireplaces was founded in August 1998 and after five successful years became a limited company in August 2003. The company has a philosophy of friendliness, expertise and efficiency that applies to both the sales and fitting teams and spreads to the wider community of Ashtead through its support of local schools, clubs and societies.

How does it work?

Ashtead Fireplaces invite you to visit the showroom to view around 20 displays including wood, marble, cast iron, lime stone and hole in the wall fireplaces and see working examples of both traditional and contemporary gas and electric fires. You will be guided through popular fireplaces for different styles of house, advised on the appropriate heat outputs of different fires and, using their 24 years experience, our sales team will be happy to discuss how your new fireplace will blend with new or existing decor.
Once your have chosen your fireplace you will be given a fitting date - normally three weeks from placing the order - and visited within days, one evening, for a site survey. We can also arrange a chimney sweep.

Fitting Day

Fitting a fireplace will normally take one day with us arriving between 09:00 to 09:30 and finishing by 16:00. The main reason for a two day job is removal that requires plastering and you will have been informed of this and have the work included in the costings beforehand.
Our experienced fitters are polite, clean and accommodating and we will discuss with you any preparations that have to be made for their visit. When the job has been finished, please hand the final payment to the fitter and feel free to tell all your friends how good the Ashtead Fireplaces experience really was!
