CHOOSING THE RIGHT GAS FIRES FOR YOUR HOME
Selecting the right gas fire is about more than finding a style you like. The ideal model should suit your room size, heating requirements, the way you use your living space and your home's overall layout. Larger rooms may benefit from a higher heat output, while smaller spaces can often be heated comfortably with a more compact appliance. If your property in Ashtead has an existing chimney, there may be several installation options available, but homes without one can still enjoy a beautiful gas fireplace thanks to alternative flue systems.
At Ashtead Fireplaces, we take the time to understand your home before recommending a solution. During your visit to our gas fireplace showroom, you can compare different designs, styles, finishes and flame effects in person, which makes it easier to picture how each model will complement your décor. We also offer advice on efficiency and maintenance, helping you choose a fire that combines visual appeal with dependable everyday performance. From a sleek contemporary feature to a timeless focal point, our range of premium gas fireplaces includes options to suit a variety of interiors.

CUSTOMER FEEDBACK
We recently had a gas fire purchased and fitted in April 2025 by Ashtead Fireplaces having picked them after internet searches and reading the previous reviews. Their friendliness and expertise was very evident during the visit to the shop with the advice we received. In addition to the fire fitting they arranged for caps and cowls to be fitted to our chimneys that we requested. Through the entire process we were really pleased with the service provided. The fitters were also very pleasant and knowledgable. I would highly recommend Ashstead Fireplaces if you are looking for fireplaces.
